Jan-Feb 2009 - Winter in Florida
Early in the year, Jason had to fly to Fort
Lauderdale to testify on behalf of his
company. Michelle, Poppy, and the kids
came along to turn it into a fun trip.
The Everglades were amazing. We rode on
a fan boat and got to hold baby alligators.
We saw enough gators to last us a lifetime.
We went to Parrot Jungle Island in Miami,
and then stopped off to see Miami
Beach...where there were more 70 year old
men in bikinis than movie stars.
Finally, we visited the Bonnet House and
did the standard "Ride the Ducks" tour.
The last two days, we all got sick (of
course...that seemed to be the theme of
many of our trips, relax and then get sick).
